Customizing user interface

MovieExpert wrote on 12/10/2013, 3:31 AM
In Movie Studio 12 Platinum the fonts displayed are quite small. Is there a way of increasing the size of these fonts without having to change the resolution of the display. Furthermore the Pan and Crops plugin is not what it was before. It is now restricted to the frame of the timeline and is difficult to manipulate. Is there a way of getting this plugin's workspace to its old style? Thanks for all the help possible.

It looks as though noone else has problems with the small font sizes of the user interface. In which case I come back to the second part of my question "Doesn't anybody have problems in manipulating the workspace of the pan and crops plugin on the time line? Is there a way of getting this workspace outside the timeline so that it can be easily manipulated? Help will be highly appreciated.

Expert,
For the first problem,Chienworks answered you some time ago here
Increase character size in the user interface
I cannot repro your second problem.

Do you mean that you can't expand the actual pan/crop window or are you referring to the function of the pan/crop? If it is the window size (rather than function, try CTRL-clicking on the window and dragging it out of its spot.

I'm guessing he's got the Pan/Crop window docked in the docking area. There may be a few small dots in a vertical line in the upper left corner of the Pan/Crop window. Try clicking and holding the mouse button down on these and dragging toward the tracks or to your second monitor (if you have one). This should un-dock the window and allow it to float, where it will be resizable.

OK. After playing around with it in line with your suggestions I managed to get it to work. Thanks for the help.

OK, good. For the benefit of others who might have the same sort of problem, what in particular was it that enabled you to 'get it to work'?
