I had a major PC crash after buying and downloading the product suite and before I could install it. The crash required a Windows reinstall of everything. The reinstall did not restore the PC's RAID drive array leaving half the hard drive space inaccessible. It had to take it into a shop for that. I next had to receive a restoration drive from Carbonite then begin the lengthy copying of my files and rebuild of all the applications and then their respective updates.That including restoring the desktop where the downloads and copy of the order had been. At the time of the crash I had just barely purchased Movie Studio Premiere 16, order number is: 20200213015917748MXC and had not downloaded everything yet at the time of the crash or begun the install. One component had a link expiration. I'd appreciate some understanding and help. Thanks. Here's the message I received when trying to use that link:

I get the feeling that you are here on the wrong forum, because Movie Studio Premiere 16 does not exist in the Vegas products.

I didn't make up the name, they did. That doesn't mean there may not be a more on-target forum. I've got a legitimate issue and of course I want to ask for help in the right place. Vegas, Sony, and Magix, and perhaps others are throwing their varied and combined names around too loosely. FYI, the mail download for this product is assigned this name by them to be: "vegasmoviestudio16suite_dlm.exe" and the user manual download is called: "manual_vegasmoviestudio16platinum_en.pdf." So, if I'm confused, it's not of my own doing.

as you wrote before, but it looks you have the Platinum version and are unable to activate the NewBlue Filters from the suite version?
And that 3th party extra you cannot activate?
Did you got the activation code with the purchase of the Suite version?

It seems that you bought the VEGAS Movie Studio 16 Suite package, which actually is same as Platinum but comes with some extra plugins. The manual applies to both and the extras are not covered in it. The product pages do not mention MS Premiere.

No, it gave me only a link to get that activation. It read as follows:

Today is 81 days after the purchase, but when I click that link today it says:

"The 90 day-period following purchase has expired. Activation codes can no longer be created for this link."

So my dilemma is, the link should work today and for another 9 days, but it doesn't and it doesn't say who to contact for an issue like this. I should be able to get someone in the right place to stand tall and make this right (as promised/intended). So, I tried what seemed like the community forum for this product (I may have got that wrong, some are saying as much). Anyway, there's a tilt here, I couldn't get to it right away because I had a prolonged outage on the PC involved, but I'm still within the allotted time per their rules! Interestingly all the other links that came with that order didn't claim they had an expiration and they all still work.

This is a userforum. We cannot do things as activating a.s.o. Therefore you have to be at Magix support, sometimes through the link on the top of this forum saying
