Disable key shortcuts or change?

I am EXTRAORDINARY tired of having to find my place in the editing timeline over and over again because of accidentally hitting "W" instead of "S" and sending the darn cursor to to the beginning of the timeline again. Is there any way to disable the W key from doing that or remap things? I will NEVER use a key to go to the beginning and it's an AWFUL thing to be so close to the the key that does a completely different task.

I'm one who's vulnerable to finger trouble like this but I do use both the W and S keys quite often and have trained myself to take extra care when using these keys so as to avoid the problem you face. There is a menu button which leads you to the shortcut (keystroke) list and I think you can change some at least of the key designations. Try looking at that and see if it helps.

Movie Studio versions do not have Customize Keyboard options, unfortunately.

Wow, that's really obnoxious. It must be my new keyboard because the issue was never as common as it is now :( Thank you, Richard, for the suggestion though!
