Not something I've ever looked for but sadly Vegas Titles & text in VMS17 Plat does not have underline. Possibly TP Titlers may. Alternatively if it's a simple title do it in an image editor and save as a png file with transparent background to use in VMS.

Eric, why the hell it's so? what so difficult in that font style that it is omitted? patent? (my other NLE has it)

@FayFen these decisions are not made by @EricLNZ

@FayFen Of interest you've played with Vegas Pro (I haven't), does Pro have underlining?

I've just checked my old, now discontinued, NLE and also Nero Video and yes they both have text underlining. So it appears another area where Vegas behaves differently to other NLEs. I wonder why?

DVDA also doesn't have text underlining!

Actually it doesn't appear to be a font style for any of the common fonts I checked in Windows Fonts. So presumably it's applied by your software similar to applying shadow or outline.

Eric, I did tried VP17 but one can't test all and surly not the things that make sense to be included in an (~300$)NLE that have 2 build in text modules...

* Yes I can apply shadow or outline but at the second style section of the text module.

**Vkmast, I know it's not Eric fault, we are just wondering on bad decisions.

***I'll admit I don't know if "BIU" styles are part of the font file or is part of the OS text rendering.

****I just checked another old 2013 NLE I have here... no underline text.

FYI, I started with version 12 about six years ago and have to resort to adding underscores for underlines which rarely look good because they rarely are the perfect length. Thanks everyone.
