I recently purchased Vegas pro18 Ultimate, and it includes a watermarked version of Ignite. Was there a serial code for Ignite I missed during installation? I did not own any previous versions of Vegas before this purchase.
Can you also specify the exact version of Ignite that you saw as included in your purchase?
Please note that "Usually you will receive the order confirmation a few minutes after the purchase. In the case of an electronic good, the confirmation already contains all download links and activation codes (serial number). If you have not received a confirmation email for your purchase, the email may have been marked as spam. Check your spam folder for the email." (From Support)
"If you have any questions about an Online Shop order, please contact our support." (From New Post advice)
To clarify, I did not see a serial code for IGNITE with my purchase. It is however found in my VIDEO FX folder as a plugin, albeit watermarked. When the Ignite plugin is clicked, a dialogue box opens requiring a serial code.
I did receive and activated a separate serial code for each of the following with my purchase:
VEGAS Pro 18 Suite
Boris FX Continuum Film Style Unit
Boris FX Continuum Image Restoration Unit
Boris FX Continuum Particles Unit
NewBlue Transitions 5 Ultimate
SOUND FORGE Pro 14
I was just wondering if the IGNITE Advanced VFX Pack was supposed to come standard, and with a serial code for a Vegas Pro18 Suite purchase??? If not, I wanted to delete it from my computer, but was first hoping someone could tell me if it was supposed to come included and with a serial code before deleting it. Ignite is the only plugin installed in this software that I cannot use because of watermark restrictions.
The comparison table lists "ActionVFX Action Pack" as part of the VEGAS Pro 18 Suite. No mention of an Ignite pack. You need to contact Support as advised.
@Richard-U I just noticed that "FXhome Ignite Advanced VFX Pack" seems to be included in VEGAS Movie Studio 17 Suite. It's odd if that was included in VEGAS Pro 18 Suite download. Maybe you got your Ignite from another (trial?) download.
That explains it! Before buying Vegas Pro 18, I did download a trial version of Movie Studio 17 but deleted it a while ago. This is why it asks for a serial code as It appears the Ignite folder was left on my computer after the uninstall of the trial version of Movie Studio. Vegas picked it up as a Plug-in already installed on my computer and is looking for a serial number.
Thank you for helping me figure out what was going on!!
