Recently due to a horrible virus I had my Inspiron 1720 laptop wiped clean & fixed. Even though it's an old laptop it still runs like new with no issues. I've downloaded all my usual programs I use (like iTunes, Photoshop etc) with no problem but when I went to download Sony Movie Studio 13 I got an error message. BTW I purchased Sony Movie Studio Platinum 13 through Amazon back in 2014 (the digital version. I don't have the discs).

I was able to download the extra programs that my 2014 purchase came with like Sound Forge Audio Studio which is working just fine. I just can't get Movie Studio to download at all.. Any suggestions?!

Have you tried to redownload the installer for MSP 13? The last build (Magix rebranded) here or the last Sony/SCS build should still be here.

As for the error code, you'd get several threads doing a Search (Find…), but maybe ask Support.
