Go to My Products on your MAGIX My Account and de-activate the activation on the listing for your deceased computer. You should then be able to go through the activation process for your new computer.

@Duvale-Murchison No, you don't need to purchase again. Go to the Magix site, log in to your account, and under My Products, locate your product. There should be an option to de-activate the software for the old laptop. Do that, then install the software on the new laptop. You can then enter your serial number. This will activate the software on your new laptop.

The options to deactivate a device are described in this FAQ, point 9. In this case the option to "Deactivate the Software on the device from the Help menu" (which can be used as often as you wish) cannot of course be used since "the laptop died". You need to use the Account option (which can be used only once a month) that others mention above.
