DVD Architect renders

Could someone please save my sanity-I render clips in Vegas after adding pre-recorded audio. I render in Mainconcept Mpeg-2 and the audio in Sony AC-3 -anyway, i can NEVER find the rendered files for Architect-I've tried to save to desktop-the Movie Studio folder-you name it but can NEVER find them-also, if I try to open a Movie Studio project already rendered and saved it says "you must install Sony Movie Studio Platinum 12 to open this file"!! Total frustration-I can burn a blu ray from Vegas with no problem but if I try do use Architect so i can add several clips with a menu the renders are nowhere to be found! Extremely frustrating-I've searched my whole "D" drive as well as "C" where they shouldn't be to no avail-I would gladly pay for help! Thanks

The rendered files are exactly where you told them to go when you rendered them. That is unless you moved them. You need only open the video stream from Architect, the audio will follow assuming it has the same name.

DVD Architect opens media (video and audio) files, not Movie Studio project files.

If, in MSP 12, you use Project > Render As, the Render As window shows where your rendered lostrender.mpg and lostrender.ac3 go. See Output File: Folder and Name. Render the MPEG2 file using the DVDA template without audio, and the audio AC3 file using the Dolby Digital AC3 template.
In DVD A Studio Project overview window, right-click and "Insert Media" (i.e. rendered .mpg file) from that output folder. Your rendered (same file name, same folder) .ac3 file will follow.
Double-click the .mpg file to see your video and audio on the DVD A Studio timeline.

edit: sorry mv, a double.post :)
edit 2: I see Chienworks advised the OP even earlier

Sounding like a Windows 101 question.
