DVDA Pro 6 does not recognize burner.

Attempting to burn a two year old BR project which was opened in DVDA Pro 6 and prepared to a new folder with no problem. Attempts to burn the prepared image within DVDA Pro 6 lead to a "Select Burn Parameter" screen with grayed out functions. I have successfully burned that same prepared image using Nero Burning ROM. How can I get DVDA Pro 6 to recognize and allow selection of one of the two burners in the desktop box? Drivers have been updated, and Windows 8 reports that the burners are functional as they indeed have proven to be in Nero.

Search the forum a bit for the word - legacy- you need to look at the burn parameters check boxes while prepare and burn from DVDAPro.

As advised above,
see what's your setting in DVDA Pro Options / Preferences / Burning > Use legacy disc drivers.

Unchecking the Use legacy disc drivers box fixed the problem. Now burning BD.
Thank you very much for your help.
