Edit 365 serial doesn't work

I bought Edit365...but when you download it, it downloads sony vegs pro and tells you the serial number you have is not for sony vegas pro. It also won't let me activate my product online as its missing my PC ID, even when i put my ID in it still won't allow me.

Did you buy it through the MAGIX Online Shop on the website https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/vegas-edit/ ?

(Btw, there should be nothing "sony" involved when VEGAS Edit 365 is the topic.)

I did indeed. I can see it shows my product there with a serial number, but when I go to activate the PC ID is blank and even when i copy my pc ID and paste into the box it still won't activate
