Error 2 from steam edition

Hi, I've just bought Vegas Pro Edit 21 on Steam after trying the trial version and falling in love with it.

However, once the install finished on steam I got the Error 2 message.

I had found a couple of "solutions" on the internet but none of them seemed to work for me. I would love to refund the product and buy it directly from your website (which I should have done).

Is there anything you can do to help me? Seeing as if I refund the product on Steam I will just get my funds in the Steam account.

I assume you've seen an old Steam Community discussion on the topic. If that or other possible advice from Steam didn't help, you might try and Search ("Find") this forum. You can combine the search options – for example in this case: "error 2" +steam
