Where did you get that build from?

I've not had this exact error on any VP install, but do try the following.

Check: How much space do you have where you are installing VP14? How much space do you have on your system drive?

Check: What OS are you running?

Uninstall VP14 and reboot your PC.

Download afresh. Build161 is not the latest build. I installed the latest Build without issue.

Check: Check your .NET Framework set is up to date. I've had "other" issues and this cured problems.

Reboot your PC.

Install your fresh new VP download.

Reboot your PC.

Do you get the same error? That error is showing that " mchammer " plugin is tripping the install. Why?

Yes, VK, I had another s/w installer that pushed for the C++ Redistputable thing, and, thinking back to SONY days and maybe before, I've had this same wake up for the C++ redisputable . Also linked to the .NET.

I already tried installing the 270, it's because I just took the print from the other build. Anyway the 270 also does not install.
