Error code: -14

I downloaded the program and I used the correct serial number. after a few minutes it gave me the error code. I cut and pasted the serial number and also type it in correctly still get this error. I even removed and reload the program and still received the same error code. How do I correct it? i cannot open program to provide you with the program version. Please advise

This is the standard Support advice. What is the program you downloaded and was the serial number provided with your purchase from the website's Online Shop?

I cannot locate the version because I cannot get the beyond activate program screen because of the error code. I just bought this program yesterday. Where can I find the info you have requested. I only have according to the info I found it is Movie Studio Platinum 17.0 This is all I have right now. Thank you

If you bought the program from the website's Online Shop, you should have received the download links and the serial number(s) in the order confirmation email from MAGIX. Did you not get any receipt of payment from the party that you bought the program from?

This was purchase a local Box store yes I have a receipt of the purchase. Eve12n though I hand type the serial # provided to me in the email and confirm from this website and I still come up with Error 14
