Error when opening a version 12 file in 13

I just upgraded to 13 so I could take advantage of the multi-event editor features (loving that!).

When I opened the project file that I had created in v12, I got a warning message that some tracks may not display correctly (or maybe it said can't be displayed). Then it advises me to create a new project.

Seriously!?! I'm hoping I can ignore this or that there is a workaround.

Were some transitions or effects created by a plugin using versions 12 which may not be in version 13?

hmmm....I don't think so, but I will check that using v12. Which begs the question: Is it okay to have both v12 and v13 on my machine? There was no prompt or warning about removing the previous version.

Yes, they are separate installations.
