Error while trying to click on "properties"

Hi guys, im editing a little project and suddenly after working fine for 6months i cant get in to the properties meny somehow. I cant see an error message pop up or a code either, everything just freezes and when i try and click on something i get the error sound (Its like when you click on "open" and a window pops up and if you dont click in the window nothing happens but you get the error noise.). i have to tab out and click somewhere on my desktop to get out of it. everything else is working fine. does anyone know how i can fix this?

im using Sony vegas pro 15, on a windows 10 computer

Do you have this also in a new project with one event on the timeline?

I now started a new project and only put in one video to edit with only video and audio track. Still have the same problem..:/

No idea what it is and how to cure, but maybe resetting VegasPro can help you

A reset gives you the situation after a fresh install. Reïnstalling gives you the same situation as before with maybe made false settings or so. A project will not be dissturbed normally.

Allright, thanks for the help bro, much appreciated! I'll wait a little with tagging this as the solution incase someone could know something so i dont have to do a resett

yes im sure, just did it again now to doubble check. sadly still have the same problem:/
