What better day than Halloween to discuss the horror of this "Exception Thrown by Method Called" error. It seems even after I take the recommended steps to resolve the issue, the error still occurs.
The thing is, I had Studio 11 and it worked perfectly fine until one day I got that error. It never rendered again. Now, I have to be fair and admit to doing something unbelievably stupid today, and that is, I purchased studio 12. I figured, wth, I planned on upgrading anyway and just went ahead and purchased it thinking that a fresh install of the new version would be fine. But ....Exception Thrown by Method Called.
I put in a ticket several hours ago, and then after looking around online for some feedback regarding Sony's ticket support system, there are people who say they went days and weeks before hearing anything back. Some never heard anything at all.
I know there have been some threads made about this error before, but I couldn't seem to find any solid solutions. By some freak chance, does anyone have any new info regarding this?
I am thoroughly disappointed, not only in Sony and their product (which I really WANT to use and love), but in myself, for not being smart enough to avoid this headache in the first place, even after I knew better.
