Font change does not work

I've recently updated to VMS 15, and am pretty happy with results, except ......

The default "Titles and Text" selection displays the Verdana font. When I generate a title, and place it on the title track, it still displays Verdana on the preview window even though I have chosen a different font. The track is not muted.

Any thoughts?

Which way did you change the font, right side of the following picture is how it has it be done, left side nothing is going to change.

IOW, (to rule out the obvious) did you highlight the text before changing the font?

I think Reg-Watts wants the default font to be generally changed which is not possible.

IOW, (for helping in case needed) Reg-Watts has to make own presets. 😉

Yes. Re the "obvious", if you have a blank (no text) T&T text window, you'll be able to change the font and it goes to the timeline with that font if you add text. Would there possibly be the OP's issue?

Thanks guys, I've been away all day so here are my responses:

  • Yes, I did highlight the text
  • I do not want to change the default text, or make a preset
  • vkmast - THAT WORKED! I thought I had tried that earlier today, but apparently not. It's strange that it is a bit different than the title editor in VMS 8 (I made the leap recently)

So, thanks to you all, this issue is solved.
