Free trial Vegas pro 17

Hi, I just downloaded the sony vegas pro free trial on my computer, but I have a question about it, does the free trial end automatically or do I have to switch it off myself to prevent continued payment? if so how should I cancel the free trial?

After 30 days it will not start anymore unless you buy a license at that moment or before.

In case you do not know already, Magix Software GmbH acquired Vegas, Sound Forge Acid. ect. from Sony Creative Software (SCS) in 2016. Sony no longer has anything to do with the application and the "Sony" name is no longer used,..
As j-v stated Vegas will not function after the trial period unless you purchase it. A serial number for registration/ authorization, There are other limitations in the 'trial version' as well, like render length.
