Getting error 24 attempting to import video

I just upgrade to vegas pro 18. When I attempt to import a video clip, I get error 24.

"The serial number has already been registered to another email address. Contact MAGIX support. Error Code: -24.

How do I get past this?

I removed and reinstalled and it resolved my issue.
