Green/Purple media corrupt (SVP 18, actually VP 18)

So I recently got Vegas Pro 18 and I've used Vegas pro before (I think it was 8) anyway I found a way to fix the audio of the movies im trying to import into Vegas but the footage of the movies/tv series either flickers (or even does this little skip thing at almost always in the start of the footage) or does this green and purple glitching and I've honestly feel like I've tried everything and nothing seems to work.😖 Also all of my movies/tv series so far I have ripped to mp4 and Vegas can apparently support the file type so ... /shrug/ ;;; I turned my GPU acceleration of processing off and that seemed to help a little bit but not with the glitching. 😞

 

VEGAS Version & Build: Vegas pro 18.0 (build 527)

App that created my footage: VideoByte BD-DVD Ripper

Laptop I'm using: Acer Aspire A515-45 [AMD Ryzen 5 5500U with Radeon Graphics 2.10 GHz]

Windows Edition & Version: Windows 11 Home version 22H2

Looking at your computer specs, it has 8GB of RAM also being shared by the graphics?

When it's skipping, when does this happen? What is your Preview Quality set to? There are many settings within Vegas, and it can be overwhelming, but as @j-v wrote, follow that link and answer the questions if you want help.
