Assuming that you have an HOS paid license, you can try AudioSyncR through 15 August. There is no need to pay before you try. Since it's grayed out, launch Help and click on the License Refresh button in Licensing Info. Then launch ASR again. If successful, the start button should no longer be grayed out and you will see a message in yellow indicating that it's good through 15 Aug.

Regarding multicam VFR footage, there should be no reason to convert since ASR is only concerned with the audio.

I purchased the AudioSyncR license, but it doesn`t work at all with me files. I don`t know what I do wrong.

Plugin tries to synchronized audio without moving/synchronizing video. Videos are delayed against the audio (I mean like they would ungroupped). I have a wedding videos from different angle cameras, but I spent a few hours to figure out why AudioSyncR plugin doesn`t work with my contents. I tried to do as it was mentioned on video https://tools4vegas.com/wp-content/uploads/LongProgramSyncing.mp4. but unfortunately it doesn`t work. I have i.e. 5 video clips on each of 4 video and audio tracks (they represent: Gopro 8, GoPro 7, Gopro 9 hero blacks cameras and Sony A7III camera and Zoom H4Npro audio recordings). I am not able to synchronized them correctly. Plureyes has limits 30 minutes length and it was no so good either.
Can you help me fixing the issues?
Maybe there are some actual video tutorials which can describe how to do it correctly in the latest build of AudioSyncR.

I tried but it didn`t solve the issue. Video and audio was groupped but the sync positions were invalid.

Do I need to use "start" synchronizing button as many times as I have cameras to make it work properly?
I will try the full test tomorrow. I tried to set "hard sync" and I give you result tomorrow.

You posted in a couple of threads today. You may want to investigate Loop Region ayncing for lang projects, as it was designed. Reading the ASR Help section before undertaking a large project is not only helpful, but was necessary in my case. You'll get there, I promise.

Important: Using CuminCoder in HOS.

For anyone wishing to try/use CuminCoder in HOS, first download and install CC. Then re-run the 1.0.2.19 setup file. If successful, both CCFS and DMFS should be shown in the RenderAs dialog.

Excellent update! KwikProxy Native SFVP0's are working again if you quit/relaunch Vegas after creating one. However, is it possible to move all of the 'frame count mismatch' and other such errors to the front before any rendering begins? I had the error pop up on proxy #2 out of 5 and thus the entire thing was stopped and waited for my input while I wasn't present, which is sort of the point of making them in batches I feel.

wwaag wrote on 11/23/2021, 2:48 PM

@CJacobsSA

Have you tried ticking "Batch" which may or may not work with the newer checks that have been added? Let me know.

Ahh, thank you, I didn't realize that would be the effect of that setting. Yes, with the box ticked it works. Keep up the good work homie!

edit: Ah, darn, it seems it doesn't with V18. Only with 'frame count mismatch' it seems, the other warnings such as the one for project framerate mismatch work correctly and do not pop up multiple times.

Hi Wayne, I have searched the site and searched my emails but I cannot find any way to download the latest official version. I can only find the Trial download which requires email address again etc. on the site.

Is the Trial version just an unregistered version of the full one? And if it is, is it the latest build?

Otherwise please explain how do I download the latest full version installer? (Bearing in mind that I may not have the original installation intact).

Thanks. P.

wwaag wrote on 11/25/2021, 10:54 AM

@Phil_P

First, the trial version and registered version are the same. You can always download the latest version by doing the following. First, launch Help from any of the OtterToolbars or Otter Menu.

Click on the Check Now button which will bring up the following dialog.

Click Yes and the download will begin. In this way, you can always download the latest setup file.

Hi,

First, thanks for this wonderful set of scripts/tools. It solves mostly of my workflow problems but after making sure how I wanted to set up the workflow, I have decided to dedicate one of my older computer to creative contents so just had windows 10 and all freshly reinstalled.

I just hit a bump right now I haven't been able to solve. As soon as KwikProxy is clicked and ran, VP crashes. (Note. the Wave template dialogue popup is fine and and GPU check process is fine if KP is the first function I tried to launch after starting VP)

The error I got is

Problem Description
   Application Name:    VEGAS Pro
Application Version: Version 19.0 (Build 424)
   Problem:             Unmanaged Exception (0xe0434352)
   Fault Module:        C:\Windows\System32\KERNELBASE.dll

   Process Description: VEGAS Pro
Process Image Date:  2021-10-27 (Wed Oct 27) 17:41:02

Some System Info:

I have used R+ and that went smoothly with no issues with a test output clip that is ~20min, it seems to just limit to when trying to launch KP

I have tried:

1. Reinstalling VP

2. Reinstall HOS

3. Made sure windows is up to date

4. Updated drivers for MB/GFX

5. turning on .NET 3.5 in windows features despite 4.8 is installed

and so far, non worked to solve the issue, any advice?

I'm using a Trial license with Vegas Pro 19 (Build 458) and have been trying out some of the HOS options. As soon as you click on the KwikProxy icon in the OtterBar, it crashes Vegas. Is there a cure for this? Many thanks for a great set of scripts.

wwaag wrote on 3/18/2022, 2:06 PM

WARNING

The FrameServer has been broken in the latest V19 build 532 which prevents usage of most rendering tools in HOS, including Render+. It may still work for those upgrading to 532 (it still works for me), but it definitely crashes for new installations. It crashes even when not using any of the HOS scripts. It still works OK in previous V19 builds and also in earlier versions of Vegas. Hopefully, a solution can be quickly found.
