There is no video mixer that works with Vegas. Vegas is an editor, not live production.

Thanks so much for your answers. I'm looking my daughter to help her speed up the videos she makes for school and fun. Not to edit live shots but a shortcut keyboard with a shuttle knob maybe. She works with Vegas not sure which version but I know it's not pro. Thanks again .

PS change my email settings in what way?

Don't know what you mean by your PS note, but to see your "General settings" click your avatar and then my profile/settings.

If you want a good device for controlling Vegas look at the Contour Shuttle. They have two versions, one has more options but both work well. I have one of each.

I've looked at that and think u r correct . Great price point just needed to know it worked well with Vegas. Thanks

@Snoopyda20 +1 for the Contour Shuttle. Depending on how serious she is, you can go Express or Pro with the Contour Shuttle. I have an Express, but think a few extra buttons would be good to have.

Ok so the pro seems like my pick. Great advice Thanks!

Would a shortcut keyboard made for Vegas work well with the Shuttle or is it the Contour or a shortcut keyboard

If you are talking about a keyboard with the keys marked with the shortcuts, I wouldn't spend the money. Just printout the key shortcuts and try to memorize. Eventually you will find that you use some all of the time. IMHO.
