Opperating system is WIN 10 pro

EDIT 1: is there no way to get a better crash report this thing is not telling me anything...

things I have tried are...

changing GPU acceleration of video processing changed it to all 3 options with same result.

This is driving me nuts and I cant get what I want done at this point sony vegas was a waste of money. if it just keeps crashing. and its a fresh install of win 10 and Vegas 14 aint like I been messing with settings its like you buy a program that does not work.

EDIT 2: I have moved the SONY VEGAS 14 to my Hard drive. maybe the SSD was causing a problem thats the only other thing that changed from the last time it was working.

Yeah I will reinstall again. started with C:/ then moved to D:/. then just reinstalled to D:/ instead of C:/ now reinstalling back on C:/ because same error. lol I really hope this is just a bad windows update that broke it...Thanks Cornico.

What gets me is the fresh install... There is nothing wrong. just like if I downloaded it and it immediately starts having problems.

it crashed again -_-

tried to upload a VEG for you too... but its not supported. instead I got this. this is what I was trying to create I just got to add some TV simulator FX to it and it will be pretty much done... what is weird is when the pop up said sony vegas stopped working this was only 50% done rendering. but finished? then I clicked OK from the promt and sony veg. shut down.... is it a registration issue? I have a serial number but since I reinstalled it like 5 times maybe it thinks that its not a legit copy? and force stops after like 10 mins

Just went through MAGIX AND SONY VEGAS TECH support using MAGIX Syscheck. and describing my error in great detail to VEGAS TECH. I certainly will post a fix for this if anything comes up. I thank all of you for trying to help but it looks like my vegas pro is just doomed to a life of purgatory.

If there is any update on this, I am having the same issue. I can only add a single FX at a time and render, adding more than one and some FX by themselves just crash the program. My computer is WAY overcompensated (Geforce 1080, 32GB RAM, i7 Core...) and the program doesn't even put a dent in my processor, it just fails.

I knwo this is a year old, just hopeful...
