How do I get a refund

This has been a big waste of time after an hour of trying to download and getting the serial number to finally work and than another hour trying to open the link that still doesn't open the movie maker file.. I purchased this product from best buy and they said while purchasing this item it cannot be returned. I spent over $80 on this product and will relentlessly go after my money so I need to no who can I pick up the phone and call at Vegas head courters because this seems like a big scam. I will take this all the way to small claims court if I have to where I will get my refund, lost wages for the time I have to take off work, filing fees and transportation costs and not to mention the anxiety this has caused me from trying to meet a deadline... So if anybody have any answers on how I can rectify this situation by simply talking to someone from the company that would be appreciated. After three hours of what should have been a simple download I no longer want the product I just want my money back.

I said I want a refund and thats all that matters its a vegas movie editing product. so now that you have that info why did you need it? and how does that help with my question of wanting a refund?

We are just users here. If you purchased a boxed copy of Vegas Movie Studio you are unlikely to get a refund from Magix. You could try asking the question for help in the Movie Studio forum here: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/vegas-movie-studio-forum/

or better yet getting a support ticket with Magix by click "Find a Solution" under "Ask Support" if you can't find the answer to your issue. You will need to create a Magix account (free) for them to render any assistance. You can create your account here:

@TealCoco as this is your first post I didn't find what you want unless you are @laura-russell and "changed horses in midstream" (i.e. stopped using one account and started using another one in this thread)? Please see CR #7.

Please read my comment above regarding refunds from MAGIX/VEGAS. This is a user to user forum and we peer users cannot give refunds. As the linked Terms and Conditions state, you need to contact shop@magix.net
