How do I revert back to an earlier build?

huskereurocat wrote on 8/13/2019, 7:46 AM

Build 142 of MSP16 keeps crashing on me. I'll be recording to the timeline and all at once the program stops working and either I have to close the program that is not responding or it just CTD. I need to know how to revert back to the 119 build of the program, because I didn't have these issues with that build. How can I accomplish that?

My rig:

AMD R7 1700 with 16GB RAM

GTX1060 6GB

X370 Gaming Plus MoBo

Where do I find this 109 afaik? When I uninstall and go from the trial that I downloaded long ago, it still tries to install build 142.

Mostly I keep all the former builds on a location in case I want to go back.
You can download build 109 out of my dropbox during the next 12 hours with this link : https://www.dropbox.com/s/g45vcc9k89e86y7/vegas_movie_studio_16.0.0.109_platinum_int_trial_x64_update1_16_0_0_109.exe?dl=0

Thanks to you both. I have the download, so j-v, you can take down the link now if you wish.

So that seems to have been a bust. I just had a crash with build 109 installed. I was blaming build 142 but at about the same time I started recording my footage in 2560x1440. Does this program not handle 2k video well? here are my current settings if you see anything that I should have set differently.

At this point, would I be better served making the switch to Vegas Pro or does that not work well with 2k video either?
