How do you apply an update to Movie Studio 17 platinum?

I have downloaded the update but how do I add it it to the application?

The last update/build of VEGAS Movie Studio 17 Platinum was # 223. How did you download the update?

(Please note that the "upgrade" to Movie Studio 18 Platinum is not an update to VEGAS Movie Studio 17 Platinum. It's a totally different program and a MAGIX product.)
