How To Move Volume Slider Consistently?

When I adjust the volume slider by clicking, it caries in moving it either 0.1 dB or 1 dB. How can I voluntarily choose which quantity is moves (e.g. hold CTRL and click to move 0.1 dB, hold SHIFT and click to move 1 dB)?

You can also double-click on the Vol: * dB area and enter a value.

I think if you hold either CTRL or SHIFT and use the mousewheel, it is a finer adjustment.

Yes, easier to adjust using the mousewheel instead of dragging.

You can also use the up-down arrows after clicking the fader. Holding the key down is an an option as well, otherwise it's one click per one tenth dB. Additionally holding the Ctrl or Shift key selects L or R fader on a stereo bus.
