I just downloaded the trial version of Vegas MS 17 Platinum and I wish to purchase a serial number for it.
However, when I click the button to do it, I get moved in the Magix website page where the Movie Studio 2022 is sold, and from there I can't do anything except purchase that product.
I already have Movie Studio 2022, but I decided to unistall it because of usability and bugs issues.
In a way, I'm trying to do a downgrade, but it looks like I can't!
Can someone help me?
The VEGAS Movie Studio product line has been discontinued. The last version was #17. The current Movie Studio products (18, 2022, and later) are based on a totally different MAGIX product.
Legit copies may be hard to find online. You probably need to find a user who does not need the software anymore and is able to transfer his license legally to you. Good luck.
Btw, if you happen to have a legit older version of VMSP, that serial number may be valid for upgrade pricing when purchasing e.g. the least expensive option to get VEGAS Pro which is the VEGAS Edit offer.
