How to register Vegas Pro on 2 computers

I purchased the Vegas Pro suite for $899 in august on my laptop. I previously had purchased another version on my desktop. I want to cancel the one for the desktop and use the new version in which I paid $899 for on both computers. Now it's saying my Magic subscription is due. I just bought this in August and I paid $899. So why would I have to pay more money now?

You seem now to have two perpetual ("forever") licenses and a 365 subscription license.

From the main FAQ: "9. How many computers can I use VEGAS Pro on?

You can use VEGAS Pro (14.0 and later) simultaneously on 2 devices. There are 2 ways to deactivate a device so you can activate a different one:

Visit your MAGIX account > My Products > Show More Details > Deactivate. This option can be used only once a month.

From the VEGAS Pro Help menu choose Deactivate the Software on this PC. This option can be used as often as you wish. An internet connection is required."

(Note that Steam version is different.)

As you see, basically you need to contact infoservice@magix.net to cancel subscription
