How to remove Video FX that are hidden

I accidentally dragged a Hitfilm Gleam down over the events timeline, and now cannot remove it. I have gone through each clips indivdual green FX button yet I cannot see the Gleam anywhere. I then tried to go to each tracks FX and still there was no sign of Gleam. Yet it is all over my video and basically ruined the video.

If I cannot remove this FX i basically have to start over from scratch on a 5 day in project.

If I cannot remove just the Gleam FX, is it possible to remove every Video FX from the movie??

Using Movie Studio Platnium 13

Adam,

You can add video FX to the clip in the media pool, to the individual event on the timeline, at the track level, and master video bus, above the preview window. Is it possible your FX is on one of the two you haven't as yet checked?

See online Help (F1) Index, Adding video effects | Editing existing video effects.
George is probably right.
E.g. if you see a green Video Output FX button above the preview window, try right-clicking it.
