I'm sure you can get an upgrade to VEGAS Pro 16 when it comes out as you have a previous version, in your case VEGAS Pro 15. As before, there will be offers for owners of a previous version to upgrade at reduced prices, which are yet to be announced.

You'll have to ask MAGIX Support (or infoservice@magix.net), if they offer something similar to the previous software provider's practice of giving a free upgrade if you purchased the application within a certain time period before the launch of the new version.
