I Can't Install Sony Vegas Movie Studio 13 Platinum on my computer

Hey guys! I just bought a new computer, and have already purchased ( quite some time back ) Sony Vegas Movie Studio Suite ( Movie Studio 13 Platinum, DVD Architect Studio 5, etc... ) and Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Version 9 ( which is the the version I prefer using ). Like I said before, I recently had to buy a new computer ( my old one died ), and have tried to install Version 9 on my computer.... but got a prompt saying the license was out of date I believe? So. I was like, no worries, I have Version 13 Platinum, I'll install that. I received no prompt at all, I got nothing? I do prefer using Sony Vegas above all other editing programs, but, for whatever reason, these two versions of Sony Vegas I have will not install on my computer. I am running Windows 10. It's important to my brand to quickly get back to uploading videos to YouTube to not lost my audience. How do I get either of these two versions of Sony Vegas up and running? Thanks guys!

Sincerely, Wolfie Wolferton

Maybe you earlier used the 32 bit instalation of VMS PL 13, but I think now you are using 64 bits and you have to install the 64 bit version , that will give you build 967.

With me it installed correct with my old Vegas serial.

You'll find the version that the Honorable gentleman @j-v refers to here https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/downloads/

Hey VK! So, does this mean I need to download what I am trying to install.... instead of... well... installing it?

I am referring to the previous poster's interpretation of what may be your issue. Of course you can install straight away if you already have the compatible 64-bit version, preferably the last build mentioned by the previous poster. Btw, build 967 was a Magix-rebranded build. The last Sony/SCS build was 955 (64-bit). If you have that one, install it.

Sony Vegas MS 9 was 32-bit, the Magix versions (13 rebrand build 967 to 16) are 64-bit only.

Thanks VK! I have downloaded Sony Vegas 13. But it is'nt the one I purchased. The serial code needed for Sony Vegas Download need begins with 1sz. The serial code for what I purchased begins with 1st. I was fortunate to be able to download, and use the trial version of SV13 after you sent me the link ( thank you! ), but like i said.... the serial codes don't match up. I purchased Sony Movide Studio Suite... which contains Movie Studio 13 Platinum, DVD Architect Studio 5, ACID Music Studio 10, Sound Forge Audio Studio 10, Production Music Soundtracks, and filters and effects from BorisFX, FXHome, and NewBlueFX. Once again, for whatever reason, I can not install this on my new computer for whatever reason.... I am given no prompt telling me whats going on? I'm totally in the dark on this

See this comment from a Magix Vegas forum admin. According to it, 1SZ = Movie Studio 13 and 1ST = Movie Studio 13 Platinum. This is in line with my MS 13 Suite version (which is Platinum with add-ons).

Are you sure you downloaded the correct version? See what you'd get using the link in the admin's post.
