 I am writing to request a refund for the purchase of Sony Vegas, which I bought on 6/2/2024.

I am not satisfied with the program because it is difficult to use and sometimes it crashes also I didn’t know that I need plugins to edit I’m 15 and I need get this refund

They told me that I will receive refund but after 1h they wrote another message that I will not receive it and when I try to send them another email it shows me that Unfortunately your mail could not be delivered please help😓

Where did you buy Sony Vegas from? Was it from Vegas' website - https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/vegas-pro/?_ga=2.34439649.1562069070.1668563166-702914177.1667974548 ?

The last Vegas Pro release by Sony was Vegas Pro 13 some 10 years ago. If you bought Vegas from a website advertsing it as Sony Vegas (any version from 14 onwards), then that will be a website selling pirated versions of Vegas Pro.

Was the email address to which you sent a refund request sales@magix.net, infoservice@magix.net or another address with '@magix.net'? If not, most unfortunately and sadly, you have very likely been scammed by a software pirate. MAGIX - the owner of Vegas Pro - would not close down an email address just to avoid your or anybody's refund request.

I bought Sony vegas 21 from original site and I tried to write an email to them on this mail sales@magix.net but after sending 7 emails they no reply to me anymore I mean I got email that me email can’t be delivered to them

Thank you for the additional information. From MAGIX/VEGAS Terms & Conditions, it seems that only residents of the European Union or European Economic Area are eligible for a 'change of mind' refund if requested in writing within 14 days of the purchase date.

If MAGIX/VEGAS have informed you in writing of their decision regarding your refund request, then there's nothing that Vegas Pro customers on this a user forum can do about that decision.

Vegas Pro comes with lots of inbuilt video and audio plugins, so what exactly are the plugins that you need to edit that aren't in Vegas Pro?

Yes, BorisFX's Sapphire is very expensive, but please take into account that the Sapphire suite does not come included with any other video editor as far as I am aware.

I send them billing address with my name ,order number and purchase date but after this they started sending me emails in German I guess and they sand me this :As per your request, your order has been cancelled.
The amount that has been debited automatically will be refunded within the next few days. But after they sand me this:

Dear Customer,

You will not receive a refund as you are not within the 14-day right of cancellation.
Our technical support can help you with technical problems.
