import dnxhd files for vegas pro 18

i just updated from vegas pro 15 to 18. my projects that used dnxhd files (in mov containers) don't recognize te format any more. how do i get the codec/ files to work again?

Is that all I need to enable? I enabled it, but with the file [V: dnxhd dnxhr 444, yuv444p10le, 1920x1080, 879923 kb/s] I get "The file is an unsupported format". Vegas 21.

You also need to install the quicktime software from Apple. Note that it's no longer supported by Apple even though it can still be downloaded here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/106375

I've used it on occasion for dnxhr with win10 & win11 24h2... it works with those. But I always uninstall it and uncheck it in Vegas deprecated as soon as I'm done to prevent interference with Vegas and other software which otherwise has no need for it.
