Hello! So I’m new to this version of Vegas movie maker (17) but have used movie maker 11 (I think, might have been older than that!) a long time ago. Recently I’ve wanted to get back to editing and when I import media it puts it straight on the timeline, but the old version didn’t do that and I preferred it!
 

Also if I delete the media off the timeline, it gets rid of it all together. Is there a way of making it so that this doesn’t happen and it only goes onto the media section for me to add manually? Maybe there’s something I’m missing somewhere and it’s easy?
