DVDA is a separate, stand alone programme but it works really well. Projects rendered in Vegas are easily imported and you can then polish up your menus etc before burning a DVD.

Are you sure DVDA isn't included with or offered as a free download with Vegas Pro 12.? I didn't have to9 buy mine separately.

As Patrick says, "Sony Vegas Pro 12 Edit is lower cost package identical in editing features and performance. The Edit version comes with everything that the Pro version has except for DVD Architect Pro 5.2 and Dolby Digital Professional Encoder".
DVD Architect Pro is currently available separately, which wasn't the case a while back.

Richard, the EDIT version is half the price because it does not have Architect.
Also you say I can "polish up my menus" I don't think the EDIT version can create any menus.
So would I be saving a file and then run Achitect and load in my saved file?
