Installer is unable to update VEGAS Pro 17.0 while it is running

After followed the prompt and downloaded the update package, the system prompted me two choices: Update Now or Update After Program Closed.

I tried both, but both methods returned me the attached screenshot error.

I am running on Windows10 64-bit. Need advice on how to get my Vegas Pro 17.0 updated.

I have Windows 7 (64 bit). Same problem...

Probably is there an instance of Vegas still running at the background, but not visible and editable.
Open the taskbar by rightclick and see if you find it in the backgroundprocesses and end this task.

I have checked the Task Manager, no more Vegas running in Processes and Services. Not sure what other process or service need to manually end it.

I have 321 version (I do not fit version 353?), I downloaded renewal 321 through magix account. The problem is the same

Update 321 is not installed, update 353 is installed. As now works Vegas Pro 17 until not tested

Thank you for the download link. I downloaded the update package, re-started my PC and then executed the updated package. My Pro 17.0 is now running on update 353! (Sorry I forgot to check what was my previous version before I applied the update.)
