I purchased vegas 14 from Magix. My taxservices wants an invoice with my vat-number (i use vegas with my profession).

I agree that if the instant/direct info on invoices/VAT is somewhere in the maze of MAGIX support pages, it's well hidden.

Send your request just by replying to the confirmation mail you got from the online shop after the purchase.

Thank you for the help 'm2016'. Although when i now rethink about it, the invoice is of no use if i payed it with VAT-cost. i can only use it my purchase was without the VAT-costs. Ask your "taxservices"/accountant. He should advice you properly, that's why you pay him.

??? So you say: for every purchase, between 2 parties, who have a VAT-number, you call this an 'issue' and must be solved by a (third party) local advisor??? Sorry man...there are commerce rules for this, there are millions of transactions a day...are you're sure you get it?

I suggest to ask via replying to the email. The guys from the sales staff will answer all your questions about this VAT issue.

It's pathetic that there's (1) NO easy-to-find FAQ answer, you have to dig the forums for hours without any success (2) NO field on the profile page to enter the VAT number (3) NO option to purchase within the EU without VAT.... SINCE YEARS NOW!!

On top of that it's all against the European law...!
