VMS Platinum 10 --- When I'm working with a clip on the timeline with my mouse, I'll try to move a clip or shorten/lengthen a clip. Sometimes, instead of that happening, a loop region will be created (not what I'm trying to do) -- Is there any button/etc that I can use so that a loop region is NOT created?
His comment didn't provide a solution. There's apparently no way to turn off the loop function (get rid of the little yellow triangles on top of the timeline).
Perhaps, based on what you wrote in other threads, you simply wish to not have Vegas play that section as a loop when previewing. This is extremely easily handled. In the transport control bar near the Play/Pause/etc buttons is the looping control. It looks like a circular arrow. Click this to disable it. Now Vegas will just keep playing on past the loop region instead of looping back.
It doesn't prevent the selection from being made, but it does prevent it from looping. Is that good enough?
Obviously not, unless third time's the charm. SonyPCH / Peter said " The selection only loops when you have loop playback enabled." and the OP comments that "his comment didn't provide a solution."
