Where are you looking for it?

Video Fx tab which lists all the options. I have entries for NB Elements, NB Essentials, NB Filters, NB Stylizers and NB Title Pro5. But nothing for ColorFast2.

Try the OFX Folder. 😉

Only NewBlue product in this folder is the Titler Pro. The NewBlue product managers shows it is installed on my ssytem, but somehow Vegas doesn't know where it is.

OK, where is it installed on your system?

Color Fast 2 is classified as a Filter by NBFX, so you should see it inside NewBlue Filters.

I do not have color fast 2, but lot of other NB filters, and indeed adding new ones can be a pain for Vegas pro 14 at first. What I found to be working is: install the latest version of the plugins you need (in your case color fast 2), next install the latest version of NewBlueVegasProComplete (currently 161118). Make sure you install this one last (even reinstall if you had installed this one or a prior version in the past). Next power down your PC. Unplug the power cable.  Wait 5 minutes, plug in the power cord, start PC and vegas,  see if you can find the OFX plugin in one of the directories (I suspect it will be in filters).

If that does not work, start Vegas Pro 14 while holding down the CTRL-SHIFT keys, and check the “Clear cache” box in the window that opens. You may want to reboot the PC again.

I did not find that ctrl-shift opened a clear cache box.

But I did find this advice to actually work

Clear Vegas Cache - delete plugin_manager_cache.bin and svfx_plugin_cache.bin from:
c:\Users\{user name}\AppData\Local\VegasPro\{version#}

On my PC with windows 10 and Vegas pro 14 installed, holding down the CTRL+SHIFT keys, and keep holding them (BEFORE) starting up Vegas does produce a pop up window with options to clear the cashed stuff and/or the option to completely reset Vegas to default settings.

Anyway I guess your comment probably does manually what you can do via the pop-up window.

So problem solved right?
