It wint let me type text anymore

Hello I use sony vegas movie studio platium 12 and it judt stopped letting my type text again. And holding the control key and clicking the type button won't work any more please help me. I don't know what to do and I need to make titles for my movies.

Try resetting. Follow the instructions closely. (They apply to MSP as well.)

Follow up question I have a huge file with all my editing video clips and music for my YouTube series in it saved to my flash drive. If I do the reset will I lose my files that I already made in vegas and have to start from scratch

As the advice says, you will lose your personalized settings, not your saved projects.
