Length and Loop point greyed out

In the MENU PAGE PROPERTIES under General, the Length and Loop point are greyed out so I can't set or change them.

did you change the Menu length from Auto calculate to Specify first (Select the box, click the Down button).
More on DVD A Help > Index > Menu page properties / General.
