Licences transfer to other Magix account

Hey everyone! After many years of using Vegas and Sound Forge (since Sonic Foundry days), I’m transitioning to different editors - DaVinci Resolve Studio and Steinberg WaveLab Pro.

I have Vegas Pro 22 Suite and several other products (multiple perpetual licenses) in my Magix account that I’d like to gift to a friend. How can I go about doing that? Has anyone here had experience with this and can offer advice on the best way to proceed? I know I can reach out to Magix support with the same question, but with it being almost Christmas, I’m not sure I’ll get a response anytime soon. Thanks!

Only Magix staff can transfer the licences. Try infoservice@magix.net

Magix responded few days ago advising I should provide the serial Numbers I want them to release and then they will become available to re-register. I already sent them the list and awaitig response/confirmation it's done. Basically a very easy process. Thanks again Eric for your advice!

To recap, a quote from the MAGIX VEGAS Pro EULA:

https://www.magix.com/int/eula/professional/ 7. Transfer and collateral agreements

"You may not lend, lease or sublicense the MAGIX product temporarily or permanently. However, you may transfer the license for use of the MAGIX product as a whole to a third party, provided that you completely remove all installations from your computer and do not retain any backup copies. You must then release all MAGIX product license slots in your user account and allow the third party to register the MAGIX product in their user account. If the aforementioned conditions are not fulfilled, any transfer of the license of a MAGIX product requires the express consent of MAGIX."

As @EricLNZ advised, it does require "the express consent of MAGIX" anyway.

Yup, and it looks like I've already got it :) Thanks again everyone!
