Limit to group stretching?

Good day luminaries....

I may be missing something here.
I have 10 pics in the timeline all 10 seconds in length.
I highlight al an create group.
I click the group-hold down ctl key and try to drag the last image to stretch.
But....it won't allow me to stretch them any longer.

Thanks for any guidance....I'm sure I''ll be back.

This thread might come in handy again, especially the posts by Chienworks and musicvid10 (as usual).
Tip: did you hold down the Ctrl key while dragging out the end (right edge) of the last event (image)?

Yes....I held down the ctl key while dragging the right edge.
