Loading project takes more than 10 minutes Vegas 17 build 321, crashes, go to not responding etc.

only media manager no timeline yet

4 Bins with each 250 clips less than one minute each, lots of tags

it takes an eternity to load the Thumbnails, why? is there a Thumbnail cache somewhere?

 

I loaded the same clips in resolve 16 everything loads in a few seconds…..

 

same computer for both

Why don't you use Resolve as you have so many problems with Vegas?????

Well i use vegas since 15 years now, this is my first project on version 17 and i have to find a solution as i cannot hsve the client sitting next to me waiting 10 minutes to load after each crash
