Well, Fellow-VegSters, thanks for all the assistance, however, it has been a complete bust.
CookieCutter: The Cookie Cutter, as I was fearing, brings about an unfortunate parallax result on a moving target. Sorry . . .
NB Essentials 4: Yes, it is/was part of NEWBLUE VIDEO ESSENTIALS 4, but this can't be downloaded as a Demo to test on VP17 and thus my investment.
Elements 3 Energize Cut Away would have been great to demo, but when I download the E3E Demo it is mysteriously converted to NewBlue Stylers3 Ultimate, which I have already, and most certainly doesn't include that Cut Away.
Conclusion: NewBlue no longer sees Magnifyer as a valued Plug - pity . . . .
So, a "Grazie-MagGlass" for VegasPro would be a really nice feature to have.
@vkmast - Wow! I didn't know that existed. I should've known you would 😉 . . Always trust the VK! - Anyways, there's still no way of checking the functionality within VP17 - there's no current DEMO.
@Grazie ... I've got NBFX VE IV from 6 years ago (build 140722) which I just installed on my laptop (trial mode) to see if Magnifying Glass works in VP17. It does as per the following screen dump:
@vkmast - My ScreenGrab gives the DEMO, but that DEMO only supplies the Digital River option which in turn does NOT no about the DEMO. The Vault supplies a method to PAY but does NOT supply a DEMO to check if it works in VP17. You got me?
@Grazie ... there is a Magnify plugin in FXHome Ignite, but it's very basic in comparison to NBFX's plugin, the latter having shape, AR and border options which are lacking in the Ignite plugin.
