Masking / Effects Not Working Properly when Rendered

I use the Sony Vegas Pro 14 (64-bit) and I made a video edit which included a whole lot of effects, everything went well and smooth until the last 5 frames. The overlay that I had wasn't masked according to what I had edited in the first place, same as the last frame, where I included the optical flare effect. Now, in the actual program, it plays well, just as I had edited it, but after I rendered it, the aforementioned overlays and effects weren't as pleasing as it had looked before. What do y'all suggest that I should do?

Hard to give any advice without some type of visual showing the discrepancy. First you say it was masked the same, but then you said it wasn't as pleasing. All pretty subjective.

Sorry, i'm not really good at describing it, but, what I had meant to say was that all went well in the program itself, as I was editing, but after I rendered it, the overlay and effect that I had added in the last five frames weren't working properly as they had while I was still in the program, editing it. The stars overlay wasn't masked well, and the effect didn't exactly show up as I had expected it to.

Screen captures of the preview screen and your final output would be helpful.

As david-tu says (it's B-5 here). Info on C-6, C-7, and C-8 might help as well.
