movie studio 13 no ungroup function?

Hi,
I'm looking to ungroup an audio track from a video track. there doesn't seem to be an option anywhere to do this.
Tried right clicking the audio event, not an option.
Looked in the top menus, didn't find the option.
Hoping I'm just blind.

Left click the mouse on the audio event to select it. Press "U" to un-group it from the its video partner.

If you have Movie Studio 13 (not Platinum version), it may be that the reply below applies here as well.

"Subject: RE: Media bins"

MS Platinum 13 in Simple mode (which is probably something like MS 13) lacks many features that MS Platinum 13 in Advanced mode has.

I am having the same problem and I have MS Platinum V13 running in Advanced mode. Is there a Sony employee in this forum? This seems like a simple question that a Sony Tech person can answer
