Movie Studio 13 Startup Issue

MS 13 has been crashing for me every time upon starting up.

Before it started doing this, I remember that the video preview window had popped out of the main interface and became its own window with a small red "x" on the top right hand corner. This happened right after minimizing it one day. I had never seen it do that before, no did I know you could pop it or anything else out of the main interface.

I could not pop it back into the main window. I could only re-size it.

I closed the program down and started it back up. It would only crash but let me state my issue in the problem tracker that pops up after it crashes.

Here's what the error showed itself as:

Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

-----EDIT

Also, was MS 13 supposed to be used primarily on tablets and other such portable devices? On MS 13's page, the only thing I saw close to a PC was a laptop with "Share your movies online" next to it. Everything else was either a tablet, a device with a touchscreen or just a snapshot of a screen with the program running on it.

It feels like MS 13 on a regular PC is like putting Win8 on a device that doesn't have touchscreen. But there wasn't anything talking out against putting it on a PC.

Try holding down the Shift + Ctrl keys while you start Vegas. This resets everything back to the default 'factory install' state.

There have been many replies with fixes to many other problems, be them possible or absolute. Such as your's which was indeed absolute.

But never have I ever been met with a more simple yet absurdly helpful response in my life. It is unbeknownst to you just how helpful you've been, and also how sincerely grateful I am.

Thank you very much.
