Movie Studio 17 Platinum (179) MP4 Rendering Issues

Michael-Cooper wrote on 10/22/2020, 3:37 PM

Hi, I've been struggling with this for a while now, so thought I'd try and ask for some advice. I used to always use the standard MP4 render for my videos, but ever since an update last month, the renders have been extremely low quality. I have changed nothing in my settings - the only change I've made is the update. No matter what I seem to do, the finished product is always blurry and pixelated. Has anyone else encountered this issue, and is there a way to make the standard MP4 render better quality like it used to be? If not, is there any way I can revert to the previous version?

Thanks in advance!

It is a known issue with "Make Movie" that will be resolved in a next update.
In the meantime you can go to a workaround by going to Project/Render as and choose there your desired ( customized) rendertemplate.

Glad to know it's not just me. Thanks for the responses, although the link to the previous version isn't working for me.
